My Professional History
My passion for helping business leaders increase revenue through marketing began 16 years ago at Really B2B, an award-winning direct marketing agency in Portsmouth.
I progressed from Marketing Assistant, all the way up to Senior Account Director and held the record for the longest and most profitable client relationships. Progressing through every level within the marketing agency gave me both hands-on and leadership experience, which has proven to be invaluable in running my own freelancing business.
With a solid 9 years B2B marketing agency experience under my belt, I took the step to client side at a global industrial temperature control company. I progressed from marketing manager for a business division to heading up the European marketing team.
During my time there, the company grew by 25%. To support the growth and subsequent acquisition, I reduced marketing spend in areas that weren’t contributing to brand engagement or lead generation AND increased both sales qualified leads and orders from marketing channels by 28%.
Over the years, I have helped a multitude of businesses (from start-ups to large corporates) spanning many industries including; construction, engineering, technology, pharmaceutical, healthcare, manufacturing, retail and finance.
Consulting
I have been enjoying the consulting life since August 2020, when the world considered leaning on Teams to collaborate as the norm. This has meant that I have successfully been able to support businesses both remotely and locally.
I have had the pleasure of supporting SME’s to date with marketing strategy development, value proposition development, email copy writing and campaign execution, website copywriting for conversion and SEO, PPC, social media content, case study content and supporting campaign assets.
I treat every client project as if I owned the business and prefer to work on a long-term basis, becoming an extension of your team. I get incredibly nerdy about finding new and nurturing business opportunities for my clients – client wins are so satisfying!
Outside of the Office
I took a year of maternity leave to have my second son in 2022 and aside from marketing, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, looking after my two boys, running (I ran the London Marathon back in 2014), the gym, hiking, and holidays (although they’re not quite as relaxing as they used to be!).
